These tasty bite-sized fall treats are the perfect dessert to bring to a party or to share with friends. They are even tastier when you top them off with a scoop of ice cream or you can drizzle on top some caramel sauce. The recipe is easy to make. The key to getting the right texture for your pie crust is by using a food processor to combine the simple ingredients of salt, butter, flour and water. Also don't try using your coffee tumbler to roll out the dough. A rolling pin is an item not everyone has in their kitchen, but it is the only way to get the dough to be evenly spread.
The recipe I found called for about 5 medium apples but you can use your judgement when you are chopping the apples into small bits. Depending on the size of your apples, you may have more than enough.
